Mild southwest breezes have pushed out the clouds and brought some warmth back to the beach. The ocean is very calm and with the tide in at midday the swimming is just right. Plenty of sun today for visitors and locals alike. Here is a very quick anytime meal that is good warm or cold.

Cannellini beans Sardinia Style
Cannellini beans - 1 can 15 oz
Broccoli, fresh florets, bite sized – 1 cup
Sardines - 8 oz - broken up
Black olives stuffed with jalapeno peppers – sliced, 2 oz.
Kosher salt – a pinch
Ginger, powdered – ½ tsp
Put all the ingredients together in a large sauce pot.
As it starts to cook at low temp, sprinkle on a pinch of salt, the ginger and stir.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes
This easy dish can be serve hot or chilled
